If you follow us on Instagram, we posted something recently where we showed off a lot of car parts. We mean a lot of car parts. One car enthusiast is definitely going to be having a great Christmas this year. Long story short, our customer owns a brand new BMW 8-Series. We’ll talk more about this car and what makes it special here in a little bit. As for our customer, after spending some time with the 8-series, they knew exactly what they wanted to change. Literally from the ground up, this car is getting tires from Michelin (not pictured here), custom fully forged 3pc wheels from Vossen, suspension from KW Suspension with a set of their V4 Coilover kit, full titanium exhaust from Akrapovic‘s Evolution Line of exhausts, as well as carbon fiber mirror caps, and rear diffuser also from Akrapovic. Last but certainly not least from AC Schnitzer – their carbon fiber side skirts, front splitter, and a two-piece primed rear spoiler.
The revival of the M8 and the 8-series from BMW as a whole can be similarly looked at as the revival of the Supra from Toyota. The last time the 8-Series was produced was in 1999. Almost two decades later, BMW decided to bring it back. And it is no slouch. The BMW M8 Competition model features 617 hp out of a 4.4l S63 Twin Turbo V8.
These parts have not been installed just quite yet but rest assured, we will be sharing what that all looks like once it’s completed. For now, here’s a little innacurate teaser.
